My Nana's chair ( shown above, which I just love) has been somewhat pathetically upholstery challenged for years now....again, I will blame the three aforementioned small children. Not because they will get it dirty, but because I just don't have the time. "This bird tea towel would be perfect draped over it" says I ~ 2 seconds and voila~ new cool chair cover. What do you think?
Here's my question to all of you ~ What else can I do with the Ruffled White towels ~ I have 2 and of course can use them as towels, for company only of course. But rarely do I use something for its proper purpose. I know you all have fabulous taste and ideas about this kind of thing ~ so how 'bout it? What would you do?
A great big Thank You to Teresa Sheeley for her wonderful talent and to Jackie @ Dreams of France ~ I love my new towels. Can you tell?
Dee xoxo

ReplyDeleteThank God Jameson isn't there to wipe his feet on them! Love the little birds and the ruffled ones are so pretty. Hmm..I would like them so much I would just hang them up in my bathroom and threaten death to anyone who wiped their little boy grime on them (or big boy grime)
ReplyDeleteHi Dee
ReplyDeleteThe ruffled towels are just dreamy... as is the cushion to the right of them in your photo.. reminds me of my Ralph Lauren Hither Hills pieces... I'm sure you will find some fabulous use for them.. I don't think I could bring myself to use them.. but maybe display them in some manner.. ie just folded on top of the usual towel collection or on a dresser... just beautiful.. lucky you.. xx Julie
Hi Dee,
ReplyDeleteHow about using them as linens and putting them on dressers or tabletops? I make pillows out of everything so there is always that. Or hang them in a small window? Just a few thoughts.

I would make Rowan a lovely toga - maybe one for Pearce, too. Fine garb for an Easter Egg hunt. :) See you Sunday. Get workin' on that crown for the butter lamb.
