So its no secret that I love to fish out a great treasure and I have plenty of places that I scour on a regular basis. Besides my little local Flea Market that really never fails to amaze me with what I can dig up, there is a great consignment store literally a minutes ride from my house (this is dangerous).
I always find something there. I'm just thrilled no one else that lives in town likes this kind of stuff (really they don't). These are just a few of the items I picked up this month.
First are these really cool tall candle holders ~ layers of paint cake these babies. I could practically read the cashiers mind from the look on her face "eeeiiwww" (she was 17 years old if a day). Then this very cool ceramic trinket box from Belgium, isn't it yummy! Finally these bangles. I think the ivory colored one may be bakelite, not totally sure though. I like the other ones more because they look like mercury glass.

I almost forgot ~ I changed my blog look a little ~ Spring cleaning has filtered down to my blog ~ I hope you all like it.
I love the new look of your blog! And how wonderful for you that others in your area don't appreciate such pretty things, that means more cool treasures for you!
