French Bleu Inspiration

It had to be 20 degrees last Friday at the Flea Market if it was 1. I really didn't think anyone would even be selling, but lo' and behold, half a dozen die hards with their goods ready to show. Gotta love 'em.

I spotted this blue enamel beauty from Denmark, 20 yards away. You can't tell from the photo, but the glass knob on top is a gorgeous flower. So far, its a good trip to the frozen flea.

Next came this wonderful purple & green Austrian plate. I was just in a more color kind of mood.

These 4 pink floral Haviland Limoge saucers were a great find ~ I just wish I had the matchings cups...maybe tomorrow.

and I can never pass up a cute old tin........or a good party ~ so please stop by Common Ground, say hello to Debra  and check out all the other lovely Vintage Inspiration Friday posts.

  3. You did find some great things. I'll bet Craig was there;)lol And if it ever stops snowing here they will probably clear spaces on the field for the market tomorrow. We picked up some fabulous things at the auction this week for the site and the show in Naugatuck. Hope you have a great weekend:)

  7. It is sooooooo cold here in PA as well! No fleamarkets for me...you are brave. Your labor paid off. Love the Hershey's tin as we are in that area.

    Stay warm!

  9. I live in the fierce heat of the Arizona Desert... but I would have gladly endured 20 degrees to get that beautiful Enamel Danish Teapot! *swoon* Of coarse I probably would have had to nurse myself back to health with hot Tea brewed in it! *wink*

  10. I am amazed at the tins that you are finding - I also just looked in your store. I never- and I do mean NEVER find cute tins anymore. Great treasure hunting, even if you had a bit of frost-bite - it's the price we pay! -diane
