Beach House dreaming
Well, its been awhile since I last did a post ~ I have been away for a spell on vacation to the Carolina shores. We go back to the same spot every year and it never disappoints me ~ Ocean Isle, NC. I'm sure many of you already have fallen under the spell of its effortless and natural allure. When I have a few moments to upload all the photos, I'll show you how beautiful it is. But right now, and for the whole ride home, I was dreaming about how to bring the feel and the look of those gorgeous Carolina shores back to dreary, cold Connecticut.
Never gonna happen. But, I can try to infuse a bit of the beachiness into my home with some really cool Flea Market finds that scream BEACH COTTAGE LIVING.
I can't wait to get these items into the shop ~ these bottles are sooo dreamy. I know just the sunny window to line them up in - too bad its 7 states away.
This pair of weathered wood frames are actually brand new and begging for Summer fun photos.
Of course its foggy and dreary here in CT again this morning, but at least the temps are above 50 finally. Not quite the beachy day I was hoping it to be, and certainly not what they are getting on Ocean Isle, but its getting there. Now if only I could get my hands on some palm trees.....and good BBQ!
