There she was. So regal, thin and simply gorgeous. All I ever wanted....in a dress form. I could not imagine how I ever got so lucky to snap her up at the flea last week. She was in excellent shape (for her age) and don't even get me started on that 24" waist.
A year ago, I would have never let her go. I hunted the fleas and markets down for months looking for a model just like her. Out of necessity, I bought a new model, on a stand. Really, she is all I need for the store. Basic, well built and lets face it - cheap.
When I came across this beauty, I was just coming out of the never ending "discussion" with the hubby over "all my stuff"!!! So I knew keeping her was not an option. She came home happily with me anyway.
Our brief life together was not to last however. Almost as soon as she went up on the site, she was whisked away by another suiter. Im not bitter, it was fun while it lasted. I wish them both all the best in their new life together.
