Sometimes you don't know what great treasures you have unearthed until you get home, clean them and assemble them for photos. I found so much Vintage English Ironstone ~ all at different places.
I had such a fun weekend at the Flea (yes, the one I frequent runs all year long...outdoors) and the few Estate Sales I was lucky enough to find.
When I arranged everything together for photos, all the pieces just blended so well.
Just look at the gorgeous writing in the inscription in this 1907 Bible ~ amazing. Why don't we write like this anymore? It is a lost art, what a shame.
Such a unique pitcher ~ This is an Apostle pitcher from Italy. I have never seen one like it before.
I have to say that my favorite has to be these Vintage Cabinet photos of "Confirmation Day".
Just thought I would share some goodness today ~ have a great week.
Dee xo
Each of your finds are beautiful and unique! I love them all, gorgepus finds, I specially love the apostles white pitcher, so unusul. The beautiful handwriting in those days was taught; caligraphy with ink pens, my mother writes beautiful too as she was taught that way, although she says it's not pretty anymore like before!, lol.. Happy Valentine's.
