Silent Night

What is it about a snow storm that really calms the soul? I heard about the impending "storm of the century" and immediately thought " I'm doomed". Bad timing~ Holiday shopping still to be done ~ Open House parties that will have to be missed, on top of regular weekend odds and ends that needed attention. I did get out before the flurries started to fly and was able to check a few things off of my list. Once home, I battened down the hatches and did.......nothing. Who knew bad weather could be so liberating? It finally started falling in earnest, and everything simply slows down. I took some random photos of Holiday decor at home, caught up on a few emails, took some photos of new merchandise for the store, chased Roro around the house, drank waaay too much tea, and listened to the boys argue over video games. Tomorrow I will wake up to sparkly silver snow as far as the eyes can see ~ and it will be awesome!

  4. Hi Dee! I love just hanging out in my jammies all day and doing mostly nothing when there is a winter storm outside! It's a good excuse to snuggle up and take a break from all of the hustle and bustle of life!

    Your blog is so lovely!!

Hope you have a joyous and blessed Christmas!!!
