That is my "Garden" in a nutshell. Who's isn't I guess? But mine, ugh! The early days of Spring always send me running outdoors to see whats going on , on my hill (that's weedy slope to you & me). The past 2 days have been brutally unseasonable hot here (yes, actually hot in CT - 90 degrees) but the poor waterlogged flora loved it ~ everything seemed to burst into color overnight. I love it. I could, quite possibly, have an amazing garden. I have the set-up for it. The vision, but alas, no time. So come Spring, my first phone call is to Mike. He is our garden handyman/gardner. As evidenced by the photos, he has not visited us yet this Spring. Probably this weekend he tells me. I hope so, flowers are barely popping up and I already have counted 7300 weeds ~ that does not count the wild violets, which I consider flowers. Its much colder and rainy here today so I thought it a good idea to get some nice shots of "my work in progress".
Also, never one to miss a moment to self-promote, so: I REEEALY want to head to the Estates Sales and Flea Market this weekend, but "The Man" tells me I have to cut back because my designated stock area is overflowing into his domain. Therefore ~ I have put a TON of items on SALE this week at FrenchBleuVintage and will definately be adding more tonight ~ check it out and support my baaaaad habit or just make the Man happy. Remember the $5.00 off promo code is - frenchbleu01.
Have a great weekend everybody ~
Dee xoxo
