Elegant Glass bottles

I just love collecting these vintage, bottles. I was told by one seller that they are called "Elegant Glass" although I really don't have much to back up this theory. Supposedly, popular during the late depression years as a substitute for the more expensive "cut glass".  Any guesses out there..........
They are not "less expensive " anymore and not all too easy to find. But every now and then, I get lucky, mostly at the Goodwill (bow heads please).

I took them out and leaned them up as soon as the temps hit 60. They are great with all my Easter decor and look fabulous in a sunny window. The stoppers are not original, I would love to get my hands on one. Maybe at Brimfield this year, which is coming up quickly (hear that Denise - book that flight please).
Which reminds me, I will be making room in the storage unit for tons of fresh picked Vintage Finery ~ check out the French Bleu Vintage Facebook page for the latest promotion which ends TODAY! (The Facebook link is directly on the left)

  6. Your etched bottles are beautiful. I have one that I found fairly cheap, and you're right, they aren't in abundance out there.
I'm a new follower and hope you'll stop by.
