French Bleu Inspiration
It had to be 20 degrees last Friday at the Flea Market if it was 1. I really didn't think anyone would even be selling, but lo' and behold, half a dozen die hards with their goods ready to show. Gotta love 'em.
I spotted this blue enamel beauty from Denmark, 20 yards away. You can't tell from the photo, but the glass knob on top is a gorgeous flower. So far, its a good trip to the frozen flea.
Next came this wonderful purple & green Austrian plate. I was just in a more color kind of mood.
These 4 pink floral Haviland Limoge saucers were a great find ~ I just wish I had the matchings cups...maybe tomorrow.
and I can never pass up a cute old tin........or a good party ~ so please stop by Common Ground, say hello to Debra and check out all the other lovely Vintage Inspiration Friday posts.

A Fresh Start
Even though I utterly cannot stand the cold ~ there is something about January that just warms my heart. Maybe its the quiet stillness after the snow storms, or the soft fading sunlight shadows or just the fact that life's hectic pace slows down ever so slightly. I know for sure that I am practically giddy at putting away all the Holiday glitz and getting a clean slate back.
I literally just put the last of the Christmas decor boxes into the basement and did a little jig as I finished. Then, I whistled as I polished the bare wood dining room table that I haven't seen in 50 days or more. At some point during the course of the year, piles will build up, I will bring home way to many cute things from the flea and scatter them about empty tables and shelves and dust bunnies will run rampant. But just for now, I will savor the soft January filtered sunlight spilling across my lemony scented not so cluttered spaces.
I am linking up with Debra for another fabulous Vintage Inspiration Friday party at Common Ground ~ please join us ~ Her link is at my sidebar.
Also ~ A new party for me ~ please check out Feathered Nest Fridays over at The French Country Cottage ~ link also at sidebar

I'm Sensing a Theme ~
I am joining Debra @ Common Ground this week for Vintage Inspiration Friday. Just the right way to jump back into blogging after a solid month off. Link @ sidebar.
I have always loved collecting vintage bottles or vintage glass vessels of any sort really. Lately I have been picking up some doozies at the local flea market. These authentic apothecary bottles are made by the TC Wheaton Company (circa 1800's) and are the cream of the crop as far as apothecary bottles go. I just lov e these , and they make for some wonderful vintage vignettes. These are some of my favorites ~ most of them have sold the minute they hit the shop ~ but at least I still have the photos. Occupational hazard.....
Never one to be shy of a little self promotion ~ French Bleu Vintage is having a Free Gift with $30.00 purchase promotion while supplies last. The gift is a super nice "Fabulously French" extra large vinyl shopping bag. Check out the shops link @ sidebar.
Have a great weekend everyone ~ Dee XO
