One of the things I really like best and look forward to all week long is styling my stock and photographing them.
Yes, I have the worlds crappiest camera, but it works perfectly fine for me. No bells, no whistles, you can tell by my flash refection in some photos ~ but if I had to worry about a great camera right now, I think my head would explode. Really I can't hold too much more up there.
Of course I have to wait until the sun is "just right" in my front rooms ~ and cloudy days are a bust! Its all worth it though when a gorgeous shot of a loved item shines through.
These are a few items I acquired in the past few weeks, the weather has not been cooperating so photos have been on the back-burner.

Your photos always look great. Love the one with the bottles and the other one with the Dundee jars. Sorry I have no idea what your vase is called but I'm sure someone will. Lots of knowledgeable people out there. (Saw Craig last night:)

Hi Dee, I love your collection of marmalade jars...fabulous! I can't help with identifying the pitcher, sorry. Hopefully someone can help with the mystery.

You have a good eye!
ReplyDeleteI have no idea what the pitcher is but I know someone who may...Richard from "My Old Historic Home" knows everything about everything! If you are not following him I think you should!

Gosh I'm no help I have no idea about that vase. I know how annoying it can be waiting for the sun to shine wanting to take pics but it's been pretty good lately.
ReplyDeleteNow the time to do something with them:)

ReplyDeletePretty sure it's a chocolate pot...I've just never seen one with that design before.....
ReplyDeleteThank you all so much for the thoughts on my crazy little pitcher ~ turns out, its actually Roseville Pottery and its somewhat popular ~ odd but true. Thanks for all your help.
ReplyDeleteI love your Dundee jar collection. I see those in the antique shops, but wasn't sure what to do with just one or two. Yours look great together in a group.
ReplyDeleteHi Dee. It's freezing cold here and if spring doesn't come soon I am going to FLIP out!
ReplyDeleteI love photographing things too, but your right, a cloudy day can ruin things. I'm really laughing about that pitcher. I could not imagine, what it might be, lol! Thanks for linking up with VIF, Dee!
ReplyDeletebig hugs,
Debra
