Dee, I received my beautiful plates ! They are so sweet... thank you for the care you took in packaging them ...I can't wait to use them.. perhaps with the renovations reaching a point that we can actually have people over and the holiday season approaching I will have my chance.. again thank you.... HHL
ReplyDeleteYou've got it down girl! The look really is easy to work with and live with. With just a few changes I think most people can accomplish it.
ReplyDeleteI've been thinking of you going on your trip....hope it was all you expected....and didn't get too scared!
Thanks so much for the mention!!

I have heard of this magazine several times, but not seen one~ bet it is just beautiful! Glad you are feeling better! :)
ReplyDeleteHi Dee...I've been under the weather too and hope you are feeling better. I just ordered my first issue ~ can't wait to get it!!
ReplyDeleteSounds like I might need to order that magazine. Definitely from Carole. she's a sweetie! I am planning on doing my living room in all white this Christmas, so could probably use the inspiration.
ReplyDeleteSounds & Looks Beautiful....
ReplyDeleteYummy ideas Dee. Love that magazine. It's so inspirational. I still have my last one that is in all swedish but that's okay. You don't have to read the captions. The fabulous pictures speak for themselves. I am going to treat myself, like you suggested and go order the Christmas one. :) xoxo
ReplyDeleteLooking very shiny and sparkly! Love the little house.
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful, Dee. Love the gorgeous Madonna. so pretty. The little houses are such a fave of mine, especially under glass. I agree on decorating little by little it's the best for me too. Thanks so much for linking up with VIF!
ReplyDeletexo,
Debra
Oh so beautiful Dee!! I love the idea of slowly changing your home over to a Christmas holiday theme, like the leaves change for fall.
ReplyDeleteYour right!! There's always so much pressure to get the seasonal decorations out the day after Thanksgiving & then you barely enjoy doing it cuz it's such a rush. I am going to take the same appoarch as you & start this weekend putting up the more neutral items.
Thank you friend,
Susie
Dee,
ReplyDeleteI received the beautiful silver heart tree and am as pleased with it as I've been with all my purchases from French Bleu Vintage!
I have decided to do as you suggest and treat myself to this issue since I adore vintage, silver and mercury glass. Hopefully I will find some inspiration to remove the Halloween crows off my mantle!
Your Friend,
Deborah
I keep thinking I need to order this magazine...but just haven't. But I too love mercury glass and use it a lot at Christmas. I have to say...I haven't been by your blog in awhile and you have me hooked with your comment "since my stint in the cemetery on Halloween". I have to know what that is all about and will search your old posts.
